Jade, is based off of another game called 'Keitai Denjuu Telefang Power' and 'Keitai Denjuu Telefang Speed' which is a game about 'electric monsters' not pocket monsters. (Pokemon Coral I have not heard of, but it's possible). There are other qwirks to it, like 'befriending' the creatures with a cellphone and calling them to battle for you via the 'electric tree.' The details are grueling, but if you have an english version, and have the patience to deal with the terrible (but humerous) translation and the confusing game play.
