Ipod Touch 4 Windows 7 Driver
I recently got an iPod touch 3rd Generation, but cannot get it connected to my computer which has the Windows 7 operating system. I have searched all over the internet (including the Apple website and this website) for an answer, but been unsucessful, so this is my last hope. The problem is that I can find no drivers for the iPod, even though I (as I have previously stated) have searched all over the internet and have also troubleshooted my device and been into Device manager etc. When downloading I have also opted to do it so that I can see all the programs included in the download of iTunes and Quicktime (the package that is supposed to include the device driver), and have seen the device driver part of the download.
However, when in the middle of its installation, it fails, and says that a problem occured with the device- even though nothing even happened to the device, even the screen hadn't changed. It also often connects and dis-contects without anything happening. And, the really strange thing is, is that everything works perfectly on a laptop I have which runs on the Windows Vista operating system. I hope that one of you experts will be able to aid me in this problem, or even solve it. I am aware that many other people Windows 7 have this problem. Many Thanks, Catmadgal (I obviously connect it via USB. Nothing is wrong with the USB connection as it DOES appear on screen for a certain amount of time. I feel my problem is because of the drivers that seem to be unavaidlable).
