Denon Hd 2500 Firmware 1400
Just found an annoying little bug when importing playlist into Music Manager. I typically create & store my playlist on the same drive as my music. I created a playlist folder at the root level of my music drive, and use Media Monkey to create them (playlist). The problem is that when creating the M3U file (within Media Monkey) it make the paths relative (versus absolute). For example:. Pop Michael Jackson Thriller Billie Jean.mp3. Pop Madonna Immaculate Collection Holiday.mp3 But to have them work on the HD2500, you must use absolute paths, otherwise you'll get an error when you try to play them.
The fix is simple, but easily overlooked. So before importing, be sure to change paths to absolute. For as long as I can remember, MediaMonkey always creates relative path.

But I agree, that the relative paths SHOULD be the preferred method (since drive letters aren't always consistent). Never had issue with Numark Librarian on my D2 DDS. Never had issue with Numark Librarian on my D2 DDS. I just tried the latest version of Media Monkey and it puts the Drive letter & folder in the Playlist and has always done so. My Cortex 1000 requires relative paths as well and I simply open the MM Playlist with Win Notepad and do a find / replace the drive letter with (2) dots. Maybe some an chime in here who own the DENON 2500, mine is on order or I'd try it.
